About Me

I grew up in the Pocono Mountains and graduated from Stroudsburg High School. I obtained my Bachelor of Science Degree summa cum laude from Muhlenberg College in 1983.

I graduated with honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. For the first three years of my career, I practiced small animal medicine and surgery as a full time veterinary associate. In 1990 I began to offer my services as a relief and permanent part time veterinarian, and I have continued to do so up to the present time. I have greatly enjoyed this type of practice, as it has allowed me to see many different practice styles and to keep abreast of current trends. When I am not busy working, I enjoy horseback riding, travel, dog training, gardening, running, and spending time with my partner Chip. I am the proud owner of two dogs, a Boxer named Joe and a Jack Russell Terrier named Terra, cats Rosie and Cosette, and horses Joani and Dude.
